Afternoon, I am based on the London / Essex borders, I am looking for a (free) source of green logs, I have the means to transport them cut, split & store them... Any pointers where I can get some?

I did contact the district council, however you are restricted to wood that is not more that 5cm in diameter

I get mine from a local surgeon. He is more than happy to five you the logs he does not want.0
