Second Purse Challenge 2012

Hi everyone,
Haven't posted for a while but I've been keeping up with my totals.
DH, DS1 and DD manned a water station yesterday at the London Marathon and took a packed lunch totally provided by Cazco. This is where it's useful having stuff in, as I was working all day on Saturday and DH was ferrying the kids round swimming lessons and parties
Getting low on certain items (cereal, shampoo) so will be going to MrT tomorrow for my weekly shop and hopefully pick up some SP stock.
DH started new job this morning after 7 months off. Feeling all lonelybut on the upside, I have eaten lo roasties and lo apple pie for lunch which wouldn't have stretched to the two of us.

Yippee!! today I have finally paid something into my 3rd purse -£10, not a lot, but its a start. I have £30 in my 2nd purse and quite a lot of stock so it should hopefully start to snowball now. Small steps and all that but feeling quietly pleased with myself. Keep at it ladies!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

That's brilliant AlwaysHappy - long may your 3rd purse continue to grow! :j0 -
£5.40 put into P2 this morning for a pack of chicken breasts and two sauces (who OH insists on using two, I'll never know!!)... Up to £12.40 already and can't wait to put my £10 to shop again
I've cleared out a big cupboard so I've got space for all my goodies

Hi everyone,
Many thanks to all those who commented about DHs new job. Such a relief after him being off for 7 months. He had a good first day - yipppee!
Went to C&&P this morning to get the mature cheese B1G2F - 3 x 350g blocks for £3.99 - we love cheese and get through a fair bit, so thanks to whoever posted about this dealCross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
The weather here has been very, very wet and my already dodgy knees have been very unhappy (they do not like the damp
) so I havent been out for a few days but luckily Sallys Stores have kept me fully supplied with everything I need! :j
Despite the fact that almost every household item got used up and needed to be replaced
Today I spent £10.50 from my SP - 3 x handwash, 3 x toothpaste and diet pepsi......all stuff I buy back for a good profit.
I now have 96 tins of diet pepsi, 7 toothpastes and 10 handwashes on the shelf of Sallys Stores, which I hope will last me a while :T
I owed SP a total of £22.50 which includes stuff out of the freezer for Weds and Thurs meals.
So another £12 into 3rd purse making £91:D:D and I still have my £30 float in SP.
Thank you Mothershp & Kerry :iloveyou:0
