Thats exactly where I am re- SM tactics, well at least this way you get the satisfaction of playing them at their own game LOL, yer using their buying power to feather your own nest. I was spending around £600 a month on groceries at one point, the food that was wasted was unbelievable, with everyone having different meals every night. I fell deeply into their web. This forum was a godsend, the GC was a great help kicking the habit. We really DONT need 3/4 of the stuff they sell. I don't buy SM meat anymore, tasteless mush, now that I've discovered a way to afford DR meat, it has made such a difference. I Buy M&S Oakham chicken and sausages, but was recently surprised by an ALDI chicken I got for £2.79 very nice.
I'm really looking forward to the challenge, emptying the 3rd Purse was a good thing, its taken my cushion away, and it has made me sharper if there are bargains to be had I will sniff them out LOL. My daughters call me a bargain seeking missile.

My shop can be "arkwrights emporium" if not already taken - all I need now is one of those shopkeepers coats!! I only have 24p in my purse at the moment so I hope nobody posts any must have bargains - I do have a mounting pile of stock though!!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

LOVE how you are all naming your shops..
My name is BallyAnnies!! When we were kids if my mum had no money she would say it was a BallyAnne day and we knew we would be getting whatever she could rustle up.. A bit like a NSD really!!
I walked around all the SM today looking for cheap coco pops and couldnt believe how much the price changed from shop to shop.. I ended up getting 600g for a £1, Mr T's own brand, but could have paid up to £1.65 for a smaller box.. I think not!!
Can see am gonna get obsessed with prices soon!! :rotfl:0/4500 -

Awesome... shop names! :j We already have the Sum Tin Wong Chinese Laundry for when you have to hang stuff all round the house to get it dry.
I have decided upon Spend a Penny please Kerri
As an aside, I was searching for inspiration and found this page which made me laugh http://www.bestweekever.tv/2008-06-06/the-50-best-pun-stores/ :rotfl:0 -
