O...M...G ... QVC are currently showing the Kitchenaid on TSV with 3 easy payments. How can I factor this into my 2nd purse challenge being that the balance in my purse is currently £17??? Not fair.....:(Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0

Does anyone remember what the bicarb mixture for cleaning the oven door was yesterday on superscrimpers?
I think she just added a very small amount of water to some bicarb, so that the mixture did not run all over the place and was like a paste.2nd purse £50.00
3rd purse £100.00

B1tch from the other thread, reporting for duty
Use an eggcup or so of bicarb and mix enough water to make it like mayonnaise so that it sticks to the vertical surface without running off too much. Leave on for 20 mins or so and then just wipe off.
Once that's failed, try using a cheap cream cleaner, scrub off with hot water, a washing up sponge and lenty of elbow grease.
And vow never to let it get that bad again, like wot I did. :whistle:0 -

I'm going to go and give it a go, my HM normally does the cleaning and she's out until tomorrow afternoon. She'll be impressed if we can see inside our oven again, and I'll be impressed if I can do it with bicarb. I have citric acid too, maybe a mix of both might work.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Or.......just give it a wipe with a damp rag. Save the bicarb and citric acid, mix it with icing sugar and sit down with a bowl of yummy sherbert
Note to self: that is how your oven got into that state in the first place milady.....0 -

What is your system for getting money into the 3rd purse?
I am happy with the way 1st and 2nd purses are going but I cannot see me getting anything into my 3rd!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thinking maybe I will tweak my system based on what some other people are doing......
Anyone like to share their system for 3rd purse???
This is what I do. If I buy something from my second purse, maybe a bulk buy of T rolls, I write down the price I should have paid for them. So maybe I paid £2.90 but they should have been £5.80. When I start to use the T Rolls I transfer money from Grocery Challenge (just as if I was buying from a normal shop) So £5.80 out of the Grocery Challenge =£2.90 back into the second purse and £2.90 straight into my third purse.
I don't know if this is right but it works for me:)Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

I have avoided looking as I am determined not to buy until I have saved for one - does it look good?0 -

It looked good but they only did the white.......they never seem to have a choice on QVC.
Yesterday I read a couple of posts somewhere about people getting a good Kitchen Aid buy.....I'll go and see if I can find it again for you.0
