Morning everyone,
I too was wondering how my second purse budget was going to grow as it seemed every time I had a bit in there , I would spend it on a deal, then the second purse magic started to work, cant tell you how it has, but I have now nearly £50.00 in there, But more inmportant than that is that I have found some lovely people that I am very proud to call my friends.
Keep the second purse faith and the magic will happen!!2nd purse £50.00
3rd purse £100.00

I discovered I'd eaten more butter than I thought when I checked the freezer, oops. I wonder whether it'll be next month or May when my 2nd purse starts spilling into the 3rd. I'm quite excited.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I am also loving this challenge, so thank you mothership.
My girls eat loads of cereal and since doing the second purse system I buy in bulk when on offer but on the odd occasion that I run out of their favourite cereal and have to pay full price it really annoys me and I feel like scrooge handing over my cash.
Went to Mr T this morning for some new school polo shirts for my dd and noticed that in the entrance they had a price news leaflet and inside it has £10 of MOC.

Mothership wrote: »A good stock of any items you use frequently is definitely the quickest way to establish your 2nd Purse, though I must say some of you are getting there much quicker that I did when I first started doing it. Its only been about 46 days since Kerri started the challenge, I've been doing it so long now its become a way of life , but I know I will never stop.
I'm realy enjoying this thread, its good to know that there are others who think the same as I do.
I just had to share some more of how this has changed me.I never return stuff as it seems more work than its worth. So yesterday, I got 3x3L bottles of Lenor from MRA for £12-I thought was really good and meant no more fabric softener for at least another year:j
I took them back this morning as I signed up to M@kro as I discovered one much closer even than Lakeside and no need for tunnel/bridges...went in today and got 2x5L bottles of comfort for 7.49:j
brought home a flyer to look through later-[STRIKE]but for now I have to take DD for her first imms:([/STRIKE] just went in to get them up and they are both fast asleep on my bed-I dont ave the heart to wake them so have rescheduled-luckily I get on really well with or health visitor.0 -

Thanks Rosielady, that's how I am looking at it. Still don't quite understand how it works (waiting for my lightbulb moment:() but know that it does:T. I go over and over in my mind about the concept of it as I know once I understand it completely then it'll be alot easier. Just really want to be able to explain it properly to other people, but can't.
The magic has started in my 2nd purse (put in £80 since I started about 5 weeks ago) so just hoping that it won't be too long til it goes into my 3rd one:j:j:j
ps love the friendship on here too - it's nice being with likeminded people and not speak to someone who looks at you like you've got two heads :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Not sure if anyone has heard of kgbdeals.co.uk, but they have an offer on there today for £145.06 worth of meat for £69 (52% discount) plus postage of £7.50. It is very similar to DR and have had some meat from this company at xmas (before I came onto this wonderful site) and can say it is really nice too.
In the offer you get:
- 4 x 7-8oz Steaks
- 24 x 63g award winning Cumberland sausages
- 10 x 4oz British steak burgers
- 40 x 25g servings of creamy French Brie (1kg pack)
- 10 x gourmet chicken legs
- Six x 8oz Denmarks finest pork loin steaks (No bone)
- Four x 250g British steak mince (1kg pack)
- Two x 1.5kg award winning corn fed chickens
- One Cook It Stick
- A lovely gift message, sent to the recipient’s work or home (the courier can leave in a safe pre-arranged location if needed) (optional)
The meat comes individually like DR, but is not frozen. You do need to register with kgbdeals to get the offer, but as it doesn't state that this is for new customers only, I am thinking of putting an order in. The offer ends in 4 days time and the voucher is valid until 10 April 2012.When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Some good advice on here, thank you - am also struggling with not having as much in my 2nd purse as I feel I should have - but can see that I've probably bought in too large quantities. Will try a different tack x0

Hello everyone!
I am very pleased with my second purse challenge so far. I would like to get another £7.50p in my purse this month if possible (as I am aiming for £20 per month)
I can't believe how quickly my third purse is growing!
I didn't have a proper shop last week as the cupboards were overflowing into next door's!! and just had 2nsds in a row, so not sure what bargains are about at the moment, but I should be shopping Wednesday.
Have a great evening everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin
