Suggestions for Doctor Who themed reception

My wife and I are renewing our vows later this year, and we've agreed* to have a Doctor Who themed do.
I'm wearing the outfit that the Doctor wore to Amy and Rory's wedding, and we're having a TARDIS in the gardens for photos as well as a TARDIS cake.
I'm trying to think of other things we could do, especially if they can involve the kids. Maybe a game of pin the plunger on the Dalek.
Can anyone think of any other ideas?
*I begged and begged until she relented.

One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

I love dr who! Do you want new who or old series or both?
Ive only really seen the new series so here are some suggestions. Invites could be modelled on the ones the doctor sent to invite people to his death (which spuds very morbid now I've written it but isn't really). Sunflowers from the van gogh episode, a guest book modelled on rivers diary and maybe a sonic screwdriver pen to use when signing it. I would probably draw the line at serving fish fingers and custard to your guest but I'm sure you could use jelly babies and jammie dodgers.
What about a first dance similar to the doctor and rose in the doctor dances?
Will let you know if I think of anything else0 -
New series is what we're after, and those are some WONDERFUL suggestions!
It's very tempting to have a bowl of fish fingers and custard for those daring enough to try it! The small cost will easily be offset by the smilesAnd definitely jelly babies and jammy dodgers!
I love the idea of the guest book!!!!One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

I love the idea of the guest book!!!!
Oh my head is brimming with ideas! At work now - will post thoughts later.
Just in reference to the Fish Fingers and Custard - it was done by using sponge fingers, coloured to look like fish fingers - so you could fool your guests and actually have a nice dish at the same time!0 -
Having tried fish fingers and custard, that's probably not a bad ideaOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Don't believe I forgot to add the one thing I hope to have at my wedding- use of the music. Doesn't have to be in your face, I'm thinking of walking in to roses theme because it's beautiful. Maybe play it to your wife and see how she feels about it?0

A lovely idea, but I'm writing the music for the service. Might be able to sneak a few motifs in thoughOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
