No:rotfl::rotfl:it was a sleepover from 2pm until the following day but now has been cut short, instead it is 2-6pm and we pick him up then, get his dinner etc.0 -

You could have your cinema trip and then a romantic meal at home.
You could tell DS2 that as he will be around, you will need him to be the waiter and he will have to dress up in a white shirt and black trousers with his notebook, and bring you wine or beer or sparkling juice and call you Mr and Mrs xxxx etc etc. He can have his wages afterwards. (You could get a takeaway and he could dish it up etc, depending on how old he is). I know it wouldn't necessarily be romantic but it would be hilarious, esp if there were an aunt or grandma or friend who could be 'restaurant staff' with him. Don't forget to have a bell that you can ring if you need to summon him, and a form afterwards to review the restaurant.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

But most importantly - who will be on the XBox whilst DS2 is waiting on?:eek:0 -
Have you asked your DH? I know what mine would say: he'd be happy with one out of the three, and it wouldn't involve leaving the house ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

Awwww, or how to stay positive when precious couple time is cut short at the last minute
OP I would see what the weather is like. If it is nice I would be tempted to get out and about, go for a nice walk and then enjoy a realxed meal in a country pub. Have a good old chat and snuggle up in front of a real fire (if it has one) with a fav drink.
I would save a cinema trip for a wet day or an evening when you can get a babysitter at another time.
Whatever you do enjoy it and have fun.Grammar: The difference between knowing your !!!!!! and knowing you're !!!!!! :cool:0 -

And don't forget to tip heavily
