Just out of interest what are they wrong about? I would have thought that the bull/bear description would cover an opnion at a moment in time not a lifelong club membership It must have been tough for those whose housing bear enlightenment came in 2002 It must have been tough for those whose housing bear enlightenment came in 2002
It must be tough for those self-styled housing bears who have bought and find themselves outside the Bear club. Often they leave the board, never to be seen again...0

Huh? What were they doing? Eating their Christmas dinner on Waterloo Bridge?
Why would the need for rental property be higher in January than it is in December?
You obviously haven't heard the usual landlord/property investor excuse for reasons of lack of rental demand over Christmas bendix. You're reason about them having Christmas dinner on Waterloo Bridge is as plausible as any.0

What is it with these bears and their straw man arguments?RenovationMan wrote: »That fact shook me, I thought the falls were far higher than that. He can't become a housing bull, for obvious reasons. He can't comment on economic data and form a reasoned argument because, well because he doesn't know how to. Rents decreased for the second month running following a decrease in December.
With Christmas out of the way now though we should see the return of rent rises as all these people who didn't need houses over the Christmas period suddenly surge into the rental market.
Wow, falling rents, even at a time when first time buyers cannot secure mortgages so have to rent, mass immigration to the UK continues and an (apparent) housing shortage. I wonder how much rents would fall if all these "props" were removed?0

I was thinking the same.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0

I can 100% guarantee (and I don't use this term lightly) you that most (exceptional circumstances excluded) properties in London will get a significant higher rent from July to Sept than you would in the following Dec.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0

Nope, the same as it wouldn't be a major disaster if June followed July, but that aint gonna happen either. But I thought we were discussing reality?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0

Well with the Olympics on at that time I think you can safely say there will be an increase in rents in London in July to September this year. So yes you are right.0
