    MOGGINS - hope you're feeling better tomorrow

    I've had an up and down sort of week with nothing of consequence acheived except I did manage to buy a couple of gifts for DS whose birthday was yesterday! (Bought them on the way to work yesterday morning . . . )

    Speaking of work - my hours have been cut back - not alot of work on at the moment, so I'll get a bit more time to get this house in order! OH isn't happy about it, but I am :rolleyes:

    Today I have:
    Made bed
    Two loads of laundry
    S&S ensuite
    Training with puppy
    Sausages out of freezer for dinner
    Wiped over kitchen bench; cupboard fronts
    Rearranged and wiped out fridge
    Spent a wee bit of time on h/hold and business finances
    Listened to DS practice his speech for school - very important, he needs the four credits from it to ensure his place at Uni next week!!!!

    Things to do over the rest of the day:
    Lunch;
    Take puppy to the river
    Do veggies for dinner
    Visit sister
    Visit MIL and spend some time in her garden
    Laundry in off line; folded and put away
    Clear off computer desk
    Puppy preschool tonight
    Collapse into bed!

    1.[strike]Hoover dining room [/strike]well..kitchen diner
    2. [strike][strike]Dust dining room and polish table, dust any other furniture and nicknacks in the room.[/strike][/strike]
    3. Wipe down skirting boards.
    4. [strike]Put tablecloth in wash and replace with a clean one.[/strike]

    Spare room - I WISH I HAD ONE..BUT I DON'T!
    1. Hoover floor
    2. Dust thoroughly, including removal of cobwebs.
    3. Wipe down skirting boards.

    Study/ Home Office - HAVEN'T GOT ONE....WILL JUST DO COMPUTER & DESK
    1. Hoover floor, dust, tidy desk and dust computer with a microfibre cloth, especially the keyboard.

    DAILIES
    • [strike]1 load in TD [/strike]
    • [strike] Put washing/ironing away [/strike]
    • [strike]1 load in WM [/strike]
    • Vacuum upstairs
    • Polish/vacuum lounge
    • [strike] Put DS2's birthday toys away in his room (currently taking over the lounge!) [/strike]
    • [strike]Amuse children :eek: (all 3 at home tomorrow...and with DD not well.....could be a nightmare!!) [/strike]- boys being very good, DD is wingeing & crying almost all the time:confused:
    I did also manage to Swish/swipe bathroom and kitchen. Took Ds1 & 2 to the park this afternoon (as they'd been so good!) which at least meant DD went to sleep for a few hours! When kids are at school/nursery - she sleeps for hours duringthe day....as soon as they're at home, she just won't settle!! Any ideas??????

    Some ebay sales finished tonight (finally got rid of my maternity clothes!!) - amounted to £53.99 in all!!! Coupled with last week's sales...I now have the money to buy DD's next car seat when she needs it!!!!!:T

    I've also done more ironing (how BORING is ironing!!!) and packaged up my ebay items ready to go once payment received!!

    Thursday
    • Moggins list - master bedroom
    • Empty DW
    • Reload DW as needed
    • Plan shopping list (for Friday)
    • 1 load (hopefully) of washing
    • S/S bathroom/kitchen
    • Vacuum upstairs
    • Dust/polish lounge
    • Check whether ebay payments received
    • Phone re: quote for a blackout blind for DD's room
    Hope you all have a productive day tomorrow and that everyone (and all our little ones) is feeling better x

    hiya denise, you made me realise i also did a load of washing today and made dinner etc - every little counts!!!
    am hoping to keep on top of it this week and then next week i will get back onto it properly!
    have just re-done the sofa throw and the whole place looks better :) i won't want anyone to sit there now!!

    Found it !! If it hadn't been thrown away, then it was going to be in 1 of 2 places, and it was. Yay :) Now to make something in it that doesn't involve just throwing a packet bread mix in there.

    I really must get round to making a household manual, I have the folder, I have the plastic wallet things, atleast then there would only be 1 place to look.

    It has been proven (how and by whom Ihave no idea) that the longer a child is breastfed the longer it takes for their teeth to come through. A couple of mine were fed until they were well past 2 and they had TEETH!!! lol.. They actually suckle differently once they have teeth as well.

    DS3 cut his first 4 at 8 weeks.. considering he was 2 months premature (3lb 10) that would mean he would have had teeth before he was born!! He certainly had them by his due date!! He was 4lb 8 when he cut his teeth.. how weird was that seeing a mini mini baby with gnashers!!

    Thursday Thrills!

    Hoover master bedroom, [STRIKE]change bedding[/STRIKE], tidy room. DH brought his laundry down! (I whinged) tidied it a bit.. made more mess though sorting out ebay stuff.. now to be a mountain in the corner of my room!

    Tomorrows list.

    1. [STRIKE]WM[/STRIKE] 7 & 6 in at the mo!
    2. [STRIKE]TD[/STRIKE] ditto above
    3. [STRIKE]DW[/STRIKE]
    4. [STRIKE]BM[/STRIKE]
    5. [STRIKE]fold and put away dry stuff.[/STRIKE]
    6. [STRIKE]list another heap on ebay[/STRIKE].. I WILL have some room in this house!
    7. [STRIKE]My bedroom.[/STRIKE]. it is looking a bit hovelesque again! did a bit.. then made some more mess.. sheets are clean though!8. [STRIKE]Move laundry from bathroom[/STRIKE].. plumber coming to remove the sink and I don't want him looking at DS1's skids. delegated to DS1

    10. have a sock pairing competition.. should be fun.. the winner gets a bag of sweets!! The way to my childrens complience is a path through their stomach!

    12. [STRIKE]neatly stack the ebay mountain[/STRIKE].. before it falls over and kills someone!
    13. move the paint from the hallway!!
    14. vacuum the whole of the downstairs

    16. flea drop the moggies
    17. sort through shoes
    18. [STRIKE]sort DD5's drawers [/STRIKE]
    19. [STRIKE]Make the oldest 2 sort through their clothes[/STRIKE] delegated to DS1 and DD1
    20. Wash windows!!
    21. [STRIKE]Make the large things shower.. [/STRIKE]because after tonight there won't be a bathroom wall until Tuesday at the earliest! One down
    22. [STRIKE]Parcel up [/STRIKE]and post (DH is coming home early) 4 ebay parcels!

    this master bedroom comes round really quick, are you SURE it's today? I hate changing the duvet cover grrrrrrrr :D

    Got a mega list of things to do today, so I don't know why I'm sitting here doing nowt...

    * dishes/dry/put away Done
    * hoover through downstairs Done
    * do moggins list
    * hoover stairs Done
    * clean front door window/and outside Done
    * swish and swipe bathrooms
    * swish and swipe kitchen Done
    * swish and swipe living room Done
    * dry some washing that's still in the washer from yesterday :oDone - on radiators
    * pack DD#2's dancing bag for tonight
    * make tea
    * put rubbish out Done
    * sort through christmas cupboard/put stuff in it Done - I've got loads of stuff tucked away :eek:
    * scrub hallway floor


    That little lot will keep me off the streets for a few hours, better get to it......if only my butt would get off this seat.......*sigh*
