Well take away arrived just after I posted that, have to be considerate as the place is based in one of the areas without gas for a week so they have been realy busy, because people were relyng on the electric so much they have had electric power cuts aswell as fuses were blowing, hence it was soooo busy.
Anyway, back to today. Master bedroom, have changed this to DS2s room as he has the biggest room (ours is the smallest of the 3 so takes less doing so will do that on the kids rooms day) so it is really the master bedroom. It's our half term next week so need to get things done this week!
So today

Sitting here wasting time because I'm still half asleep! I was at a meeting last night, and didn't get back until 11.30pm. I just can't do late nights (but I'm great at early mornings!).
I did a second coat of paint on the cupboard yesterday, and the weekly shopping, as well as a little taxi-work for DD, and haircuts for DS1 and DS2 - my word, there are faces under that mop!
Lovely sunshine here at the moment, so after a coffee and putting some washing in, I may treat myself to a while in the garden. The seeds I ordered last week have come, so I could sow some sweet peas, and look forward to summer!
I'm also going to type up the minutes of last night's meeting, as I shall just not have the time and energy once halfterm over.
Have a good day everyone. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Do you think that if i put my piles of washing under my pillow, the washing fairy will take it away and leave me a new pair of shoes in its place?
No....me neither. Ho hum, back to the 15 (yes, 15) loads that need to be done. What the Deuce?0 -
I have written the children their own lists of jobs.. and they are doing them!!!!
DD3 came and asked where her list was as the others all have one.. she can't even read!! lol.. she has a list now too and has skipped off upstairs to tidy her room.. I like this!!
I have planted my lavendar in the ground, potted my 2 new strawberry plants and have left the raspberry cane and blackcurrant cane for DH to plant.. I've left the rhubarb for now too, though I may pot that later.. I'm deciding.. I thought the rhubarb and blackcurrant would make fabulous jam. My recycle bin wil really suffer if I start saving my jam jars!!
I got 2 huge tubs of mincemeat for mince pies as well.. £1 each from asdas reduced shelf (was £2.29 originally) The date on them is Oct. 08 so I could even save them for christmas.
I also decided I am going to get myself a large stacking box and start my christmas hamper as well.. £2 a week like I'd do on a company and I get exactly what I want and am not over charged! I couldn't afford to do it last year but did the 2 years before.
My planting cleared a space in my front room, on top of the cabinet where DH dumped the plants!
Kitchen now.. then upstairs!
the oldest 2 have just brought down 4 loads of washing between them.. and my baskets WERE empty!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

 15? and I thought I had a lot, unfortunately there's no washing fairy although kids and OH's think there is

That's a good idea, it's good to be organised/prepared :T
I'm now loitering on here having decided the rest of my list can wait till later on (I really AM a procrastinator aren't I *gulp* ) but the difference is since joing flylady I really will do it later, before, I would have left it till tomorrow0 -

Hi All
So far:
Washed dishes
Stripped bed
WM x 2
TD x 1
Taken DS for pre-school jabs and DD was absolutely distraught when he had them done - took me ages to console her. She cried more than DS did!
FIL fetched battery for the car for me but couldn't work out how to get the old battery off so I've got to wait for DH to come in before the car will be back on the road.
I suppose I ought to sort some dinner out and get some more jobs done!

Afternoon Flybabes
I'm having a terrible week. I suffered a miscarriage at the weekend. 12 weeks just before having first scan. So much blood I was rushed to hospital and into theatre. DH was white as a sheet and we were both very scared. Fortunately I only lost the baby and nothing else which we'd both feared. This is my second miscarriage, I had one last year at 14 weeks - doesn't make it easier to deal with though. My emotions are all over the place.
Please don't feel too sad for me though - I already have a beautiful son currently doing his Cars jigsaw for a reward of chocolate (what? I'm trying not to turn on the telly and am running out of games to play!!!).
I'm trying desperately to keep busy. Today is my first day alone again as DH had to go to an interview and my mum's gone home to care for my dad who has a bad knee. Last time my son and my p/t job kept me occupied but now I'm running round the house like a mad women cleaning and trying to keep my mind busy - otherwise I'm ironing and watching weepies and crying liking some mad idiot.
So far today I've
Made beds
Swished ensuite
Swished downstairs toilet
Done WM, TD and ironing
Stripped DS bed (wet)
Stripped Spare room bed
Loaded and run DW
Wiped down kitchen surfaces and doors
Shined sink
Now need to make beds, hoover and finish washing/ironing. Dinner is sorted as family/friends have bought us 3 shepherds pies!
Pink Butterfly - beautiful photo - I love seeing photos of other people's babies / kids. Pigpen's kids put a huge smile on my face and their antics are keeping me going .
Take care.Punky x0 -
Punky, huge hugs to you and your family. Take care, hun.
