We’d like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum.
This is to keep it a safe and useful space for MoneySaving discussions. Threads that are – or become – political in nature may be removed in line with the Forum’s rules. Thank you for your understanding.
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Oh, I forgot. Is this just the ten minute argument or have you signed up for the full hour?
Came on here and told it how I saw it. just trying to get ANSWERS that's all
And give ADVICE that's all0 -
You have been given answers but you appear not to be able to understand them That is not anyone else's fault. Try Google if you're not getting what you want here.0

No you was wrong and can't accept it, get over it, chill
Once you've admitted to yourself you'll feel better0 -
No, you "was" wrong and either don't know it or won't accept it. Or can't because you don't have the capacity for reason. That's not my fault. If the answers are important to you why not try and find them elsewhere if your experience here is so unsatisfactory?0

I hope the landlord gets the book thrown at him, too many bad ones about
I would just be worried in case he rocked up with his mates and talked you into making a sharp exit, but even then theres laws for your protection, just applying them at the time is quite often an issue - good luck

lukesy, it seems you have little understanding of what the law actually is, and are only offering opinions as to what you think SHOULD happen, with no actual reference to tenancy law itself. BitterandTwisted, on the other hand, has a lot of knowledge and experience in this area.
I don't claim to know who is right here, but I do believe that the way you are posting now is unproductive, and unhelpful to the OP. If you're new- that's fine, but please respect the other forum users, and only post things which are helpful- not just what you *think* should happen. This is a serious matter for the OP, and the wrong information could have serious consequences for them.
If you're a troll, as I'm beginning to think may be likely- please respect that this thread you've decided to post on is about a serious issue for an actual person. You cou;d be stopping them getting the help they ACTUALLY need, and if things go really wrong, this could be a case of homelessness (if there is only 20 minutes notice, no money to move on, and LL doesn't pull his finger out). So stop messing with people's lives, and find something better to do. Please. If it rains, it rains.
We'll be in the street, looking thunder in the face,
Singing la la la la la,
I wont change0 -

Haha goodnight all0 -
I am really confused, if the OP is genuine and not posting about a friend again, I don't understand why they are being made to feel as if they are in the wrong and should have just quietly left.......Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0
