Lip sync issue when watching DVD's

I have an LG - 32LH5000 LCD Television and whenever I watch DVD's the lip sync is also wrong.

I recently replaced my old DVD player with a Sony Blu-Ray player thinking it was the old DVD player but it's made no difference. I have even played DVD's through my son's Xbox, but still find the lip movement out of sync with the sound.

Normal TV is fine.

The Blu-Ray player and Xbox both have separate HDMI cables.

Really struggling to understand what could be wrong and it does spoil the enjoyment of watching films at home.

The's normally a setting on the TV that allows you to adjust the lag on speech so this doesn't happen.You'd have to look in the handbook for the TV.

Agreed or ther may even be a setting in the Blue Ray player which connects via HDMI.

In my case when I had this problem (via digital cable tv set top box to an older Pioneer Plasma tv - analogue cable tv direct to the tv was fine) the audio delay setting I needed was to be found in my separate Onkyo HDMI distribution amplifier which I use to connect all my HDMI separates to the tv.
