I did not get that with the "company" I was with. But then I did not know any better being new to it all and such.0

I have found the IFS Competence Development Tool for £160
or
the Archer Training MP3
I do like being able to put stuff on my Ipod to listen to - can take it in quite easily that way.
Which would be the best?0 -
I managed to get the CD rom via work, so did not have to pay, as did all training material0

Archer training is good if you want a refresher. I definately used him for CeMAP3. I have all of his MP3's as a refresher tool. I listen to them on the train. The info somehow logs itself into the brain. And he is a really nice guy. His training books are good too. I got the MP3's before my job move as a refresher, stupid me threw away the CeMAP manuals. But I prefer listening to the stuff than actually having to do battle with the heavy fat folder and find the important stuff whilst commuting.
Also there is this new website called https://www.wizardlearning.com which is also quite helpful as they now have a CeMAP section as well. Try their free demo.0 -
Will have a look at the site you quoted - thanks UK007
I will get the Archer MP3 downoad - I have had the 5 day free trial and it is good - the whole set is only £29.99
I got the revision manuals for 1, 2 & 3 plus 3000 sample question papers on Ebay last night for £4.99 - so am well-pleased with that!
Thanks!0 -

Magicarp how are you getting on?

Some networks are very reluctant to take on new trainees as quite a few only last a couple of months when they find out what all the compliance really means in practice.I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0

Frighten folks, why don't you!!!!
I have signed my life away to a Company that is through a Network.
My own take on "compliance" is that I have to be able to justify the product that I have recommended at the time of the illustration being given. If questioned about it, I should be able to tell the Compliance Officer why one route was taken over another and to prove that the best product was recommended to the client as per their own requirements.
Why should that be such an issue?
I have been self-employed all of my working life, I have always had to take responsibility for my own actions. If I made a mistake I had no-one else to blame.
I worked in the medical profession - I watched the people working at the Clinic (free to the patient) and making a mess of their work, their clients then coming to me (paying me privately) to sort out the mess that had been made.
None of my patients ever had to go to the Clinic and complain about my work because I did my job properly in the first place.
Compliance makes you responsible for your work and your decisions.
If you are doing your job properly and correctly then there should be no problem.0
