    nah dont like cooking but last yr i bought a slow cooker.wonderful thing's they are and dead easy to cook with.i make soup,soup,soup...... my forte is baking though.oh yes i can wash up-my son still hasn't mastered the art of that yet @ the age of 21.bacon and lentil soup sounds yummy.must give me the recipe

    soup soup soup 3 types what flavours are they can add bacon and lentil to the list now hopefully if fi gives you the recipe?
    ever thought about tying your son to the kitchen sink with your chain thats attached to the cooker etc etc :-) haha lol

    usually vegetable soup and it's always different depending on what veg you use.if only i DID have a chain i'd have used it a long time ago believe me.
  • Have to say my bacon & lentil soup isn't exactly difficult - I don't do difficult :)

    1 packet bacon (as lean as possible - usually 6 or 8 slices (cuurently BOGOF in Tesco)
    1 onion
    3 carrots
    1 Ham stock cube
    lentils

    roughly chop carrots, onion and bacon
    Chuck in pressure cooker with as much water as you think is ok
    Add the stock cube
    start heating the pressure cooker while rinsing the lentils (don't know weight bu I use about half a pint in the measuring jug)
    Add lentils to soup, put top on pressure cooker and cook on highest pressure for 20 mins
    Whizz with a hand blender.

    I overfilled the last lot and got 8 really good full bowls from it (ikea bowls)
