Get a proper aerial installer in for some advice and a written quote that states you will receive a stable picture on all muxes.0

How much would it cost to have Sky multiroom-usually there are deals on it -I think my total was about an extra £2.50 a week on my Sky bill for it. Our TV is dreadful through an ordinary aeriel too -and I decided it was far easier to do it through Virgin or Sky than faffing about with aeriels .I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Your aerial should be on the roof, not in the loft. Doubtfull an aerial amplifier will do much good. A mast head amplifier is always preferable, but not as good as a properly specified external aerial.
Are you tuning in to analog or digital channels?
I have an aerial in the loft (inherited from the previous owners) and it works fine.0 -
He clearly didn't do all he can - he should have fitted the booster he said you needed!
katejo - me too, but we're lucky, aerial out on the roof WILL get a better signal.0 -
I was thinking about getting sky multiroom, but if i wanted it in the bedroom i would have to have a box in there as well and i have no where to put it as the tv is on the wall!
Ive got an aeriel fitter coming on saturday morning now so hopefully it will be sorted!0 -

Not necessarily, the box could be sited on top of a wardrobe & a RF flylead ran from the Sky box to the TV.The box could even be sited in another room & a Red Eye sited on the TV,which back links to the Sky box & allows you to control it.
That's how I ran one for a friend, his Sky box is in the laundry room which is right behind where the TV in the conservatory is.Like you, the's no room for a box in the conservatory for the box as the TV's also on the wall.0 -

Or you could just connect you bedroom TV to the Sky Box in the lounge via the RF2 output and use a TV link magic eye to change channels.
TV-Link.

With those magic eyes dont you have to have the same thing on upstairs as you do downstairs? And you can only change the channel downstairs?0

Not quite, you have to watch the same channels in both rooms but you can also change the channel from both rooms,But if you want to watch a different channel on Sky,you need a second Sky box, hence my suggestion above to solve the issue of the TV on the wall. Some people even have the Sky box in the attic, under the stairs ect & use a flylead & magic eye you control it.0
