so one person in a thread of 140+ posts
I stand by my previous post

The first regular Arms poster out of 140+ sensible, non judgmental posts as well.

The MSE member base is made up of a cross section of people. Not everyone will agree with each others thoughts. And that's ok. Some will agree with my take on this, some wont. It's a personal thing.

However I hate unfairness in any way shape or form. It wasn't that long ago that it was agreed the Families Board could be used for this type of thing, yet they move the thread now? If the Forum Team had decided to cull the Families Board for whatever reason and move all such similar threads then that's fair enough, I wouldn't have been happy but I would have accepted it and just quietly exercised my choice of not wanting to post in the Arms, by deleting my comments.

However, they didn't do that. They left threads about boredom, and loads more which I don't want to list as I don't want to rock the boat for the others who have posted threads which are similar.

Again, I understand I post on a site freely provided. That does not mean I cant speak out against that which I find wrong.

Not so much a fixation, more I read the posts when the thread was in its original place, so know who had already been part of the reasonable discussion that went on previously. And thereby noticed that a regular Arms poster was the first to post something unpleasant.

    Simple observation skills.

Ah...so now we're not allowed to delete our comments and the thread gets locked to prevent this?

    Laughable.

I could have understood if your thread was moved to Health - because losing weight is health related. But the Arms just seems random and wrong :(

And many of us think the same juno. However the Forum Team in their 'wisdom' hold all the power and that means they can ride roughshod over us users anytime they want.

I was under the impression that there was a new ethos with regards to the Families/Relationships board.

The previous strict guidelines that stated threads should be financially related, were relaxed.

So when I start a thread to do with weight issues, why has it been moved to the Arms?!

I'm damned angry that there are weight loss threads, baby threads, pregnancy thread, 'I'm upset my husband is leaving me' threads and Lord knows what else, but my thread which many have posted on in a serious manner, has been moved to the Arms of all places. No doubt it and the people who posted on it will get ripped to shreds now by the usual idiots!

It's a different group of people who frequent the Arms. If I wanted to discuss my personal feelings with them, I'd have gone there in the first place.

Yeah yeah, I know. Don't put in the net what you don't want people to read, yadda yadda.

It's like going into a room in college where the 30+ people are and having a sensible discussion, then being told you need to go have the discussion in another room where the 18 year olds are.

I just wouldn't do that but you lot have given me no choice in the matter and have moved me regardless.

    Thanks a bunch!

And if you don't like the way I post, sod off and ignore me.

Sheesh, why do some people think they are it?

So, who DID you upset then? It's completely disappeared now.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
