Right. I've now caught up on posts.

Red Ruby: Glad you know Wittering, apart from the Island I think it is my favourite place, probably because to me and my family it means 'holiday'. Hope you feel better soon.

LW: So sorry that you are in such pain - what a bummer! I can only imagine what misery it is for you. Hugs - albeit gentle ones.

Lou: I don't care how often you put yourself down, I will say again, and continue to say as often as needed - 'You are very precious to us, we all feel for you, we all care for you and no way are we ever going to be p--d off with you'. We miss you when you're not around, although we understand when you feel too bad to post. You are going to get so bored with me saying these things but be warned, I will go on saying them over and over and over and..............

Lou - Don,t hide, we miss you xx

Floss - Vinnie Jones and chest compressions -Phwooor ;)

JackieO - it prob is still around - duel carraige way would be great, if people knew how to use it, i,m born n breed here and it always amazes me how people still appear to think that indicators are optional, and driving at 20mph is the norm :)

Sorry if i,ve missed anyone - free hugs for all xx

Was loosing the will to live at work today, so have booked tomorrow off last minute - I need a 'me' day, although I will probably use it to clear out the lounge which is dusty and cluttered behond belief

Out to dinner tonight at the local college, is supposed to be fab and is very reasonable cost wise £25 per couple for a 3 course meal, told OH he can use it as an early Valentines day

Have a fab evening all x

Islandmaid: The roundabouts are slightly hysterical too. When we first arrived we couldn't get over arriving at a roundabout to find four lanes of traffic all anxiously peering at each other wondering who was going to blink first!
I never did congratulate you on your new jalopy. I bet you've said, "This car is going to be kept clean." It's always the first thing we say and the first rule we break.
The college food is good. A group of us go there once a month for lunch. Students watching you like hawks to see if there is anything they can rush over and do for you, good food, waited on hand and foot and all for a tenner. What's not to like.

Maybe I can steal one and bring them home - I could do with someone-what-does around the house LOL. Then again they will probably be teenagers and I am developing an allegy to teenagers :)

The main roundabout in Newport is like something out of Gladiator at the weekends - scares the pants off me.... As for the car, your right, kids have been told that they can only go in it if they hover and don,t breath and deff NO food/drink or dirty shoes ;)

Hi Everyone! Busy day today so no chance to get on earlier. Hope all the ones who are feeling poorly or down haven't had too bad a day. JG, Eliza sounds a little treasure - but don't go doing too much.
Need to sort out DS's finances too... oh well..
Sang at memorial service for someone at church today - never realised what an interesting life he'd led as he came here in retirement. He'd been the under-sherriff for the county and so all the great and the good legal bigwigs were there. Then a quick visit to the gym, and this afternoon I've had my hair done.
Tomorrow is filled with interviewing to find an architect for our next major church project, so HW is not really featuring much at the moment!
    Take care, all of you!

    Hi,
Just finished eating(fish baked with cheese & breadcrumbs/chips)DS2 has gone to see DGD before she goes to bed, possibly give her a bath too :j
I've been to local retail park with DN and DGNephew as it was her day off,she treated me to a coffee and scone in M&s.We had to dash between shops as the weather was lousy and still is.Apart from that I havent really done much apart from the usual tidy round-trying to keep on top of things now after two big clean ups in a week for viewers.

I sorted all my wool out yesterday, and started a new crochet blanket-hexagons this time.Probably be this time next year when I finish it but it'll keep me quiet.I like doing it while I'm watching TV.

Glad you feel so much better JG than when you were pregnant-sound like you are all doing ok :j

Hugs to Lou ,LW,Jaxx and anyone else in pain.Take care all of you xxx

    Miffy, how's your mum?.

Thanks for asking Tru she is much the same but obviously getting weaker, she is on quite a lot of morphine now but not too uncomfortable. The hospital is very nice and the staff are very caring. Glad you have nearly got a job but does that mean we have to abandon ship!!!!!! We could still be pirates on the weekend.
Had a busy day at school, my menfolk cooked a nice dinner of Thai fishcakes I just have to do the rest of the washing up:eek:
JG Sounds like you are having a lovely time with EG and glad that you feel so much better.
Hugs to all esp LW Jaxx and Lou
Islandmaid enjoy that new car. Hope everyone has a good evening.

Late one from me. Very busy day. Went to West Wales with work today, work kids had ICT lesson in morning which they struggled with as they hate classroom work :( but we did the low ropes obstacle course this afternoon and they were fab at it :T way better than I thought they would be! Some of them really shone! Luckily my colleague came with us and drove bus back so I could rest a bit.

Quick pit stop at home to get changed then out for dinner with the girls. It's one of my friend's 30ths on Sat but her family are taking her away for weekend so we went out for dinner tonight to celebrate, but her proper birthday celebrations will be next Friday.

Then after that I met up with one of my Camp America friends whose dad lives down here. She been visiting for the week. We joked that I've seen her more in last 3 months than I have in last 3 years! It's lovely though :D

So home now, in bed, got hot water bottle and about to go to sleep. Have more or less lost my voice :( but am overall feeling better.

    OS wise - washed dishes!

    Night all
