I think I'm going slightly mad

Lol, I think I'd go mad if someone asked if they could buy something for 99p...
I had a woman in yesterday saying she wanted toothpaste, BUT she wanted it 3 for £1."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Hi Ian
Sorry I think I confused you. Where I live there is both a 99p shop and a Poundland shop. Well spotted, yes I did buy the washing machine tabletts in the 99p shop for 99p. In Poundland everything costs £1. Personally I buy more things in the 99 p shop.
Take care
Rebecca:jI'm confused
Are you talking about Poundland or the 99p shop?
(and how did you manage to get "washing machine limescale tabletts in Poundland today 99 pence")?
Apologies in advance if I'm being a bit thick. :wall:

we (the people that order) can't always get what we want in, cos the central warehouse can't get it, if that makes sense.

Talking of the central warehouse, my mate lives within spitting distance of it and keeps complaining because the shop closest to it in Walsall is pokey and always has the naffest of the bargains! I usually end up buying the bargains from my local large store (miles away!) and bringing them down! Ironically, the 99p store nearby to the store in Walsall is miles better!!!
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0
