I'm disappointed you haven't been able to back up your assertion that I am the same as Hitler.
Why am I compared to the biggest murderer in human history?!?? I have to know!!!!
Have you recently lost a planning appeal because you thought you had the right to light?
Is there a new train line that benefits millions going to go within 10 mile of your house and you are upset?
It isn't you the pathetic accuser who is suffering, it's me, worrying that I am in fact Hitler and I don't think I can cope with the horror of it!!!
Well you have changed me - I'll never support something that benefits others at my expense ever again! Are you happy now... am I no longer Hitler?0 -

Calm down, you're getting hysterical. One post would have been sufficient.
What I wrote was that you are a supporter of a tyrannical principle: that the rights of the individual can be ignored when it is deemed in the 'common interest' to do so.
That is one of the things the rule of law has been designed to mitigate.
Clearly, you don't agree. Or is it that you don't want to understand?0 -

Well done.
I am perfectly calm, except when people compare me to Hitler, Mao and Stalin.
It's acceptable to demand an explanation in those circumstances isn't it?What I wrote was that you are a supporter of a tyrannical principle:

HAHAHAHHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I am a supporter of tyrants, yes, there is no argument there, I am a tyrant. That is one of the things the rule of law has been designed to mitigate.
Which law, criminal or civil? Is the fairness(for all) and judicial process of the planning laws getting you down?
Due process was a big part of Hitlers planning regime wasn't it!Clearly, you don't agree. Or is it that you don't want to understand?
Yes, I don't agree with someone who compares me to the worlds worst fascists gits just because I am happy to have a railway built near my house.
And no, I don't understand big man, how about you explain it in plain English rather than comparing me to Hitler?
I'm a dumb idiot and I don't understand why my stance on development is comparable to some of the worst tyrants in history. Drop the subtle hints, just come out with it.
As I said previously, I'm all ears.0 -

I said you support tyrannical ideas. And you do. If you are incapable of understanding that, we might be close to understanding why.0 -

Surely the obvious place is somewhere close to HS2. And preferably somewhere north or south of major conurbations so that the flight paths will be mostly over open country.
London is within easy reach as is the north of the country. If it’s not important to you, don’t consume it0 -
When they built a new port in Essex, they bought a load of land on the Hoo Peninsular for nature reserves and bird sanctuaries as compensation. Where will they buy in order to be allowed to build an airport on them?

Still, it's not as if anyone lives there, or anything important will be concreted over.Been away for a while.0 -
Terminal 5 doesn't seem too bad to me - as one who's dropped off or picked up passengers, dunno about as being a passenger though.
I think the long term plan is to replace the other terminals one by one, T5 having provided the capacity to allow one of the others at a time to be completely vacated and rebuilt.
That's my understanding too. I think T3 is more or less completed (I travelled through there in September when they were working on it and it looked close to completion then) and T2 I think is next. Runways are definitely the bottleneck though.
Gatwick would give a more immediate solution but AIUI there is an agreement not to build a second runway there until something like 2019. The area is a lot less built out than Heathrow. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
