Hi guys,
I hope I'm not asking a stupid question here - please be gentle if I am! I received this expensive Chanel perfume as a Christmas gift from my sister in law. I used to like that particular perfume, still got some in a bottle, but some how my body chemistry has changed and I don't now. I don't know where she bought it, and I can't ask. It's definitely from either Deb, Boots or JL because that's where she shops and she doesn't do online shopping. Is there any way of knowing where she got it? Is it worth trying to return to any of these stores - without being embarrassed?

Unfortunately there's isn't any label. I guess it would have been bought from the Chanel counter as it's in a little Chanel bag. I just didn't want to go to the eBay route, as I've noticed such items don't do very well on there. Probably because people worry they might not be genuine.Love saving, but not sure I'm doing it right!0

Do you have anyone that you can give it as a special present to in the coming year, or Christmas.
Dont think you have many options to be honestmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Not really. Don't know anyone who's into Chanel! But I guess you're right. Either eBay, or keep it and hope one day I'll like it again!Love saving, but not sure I'm doing it right!0 -

Or may be I should pluck up the courage and go to JL. I'd be happy with gift vouchers. I suppose I should tell them I'm not sure it was bought from them to avoid the embarrassment!Love saving, but not sure I'm doing it right!0 -
You are going to struggle without a receipt/proof of purchase.Come on you Irons0

And even if you did, you have no rights as you didn't buy it.One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

problem is too many fakes out there and there is no way to check it as it will be sealed.
I would expect you to have to keep it or ebay it I am afraid - I doubt anyone will touch it - especially Chanel - they are well known for never having discounts etc so someone walking it unknown with no proof asking is going to raise eyebrows...0 -
Op says they still have some in a bottle and they used to like it.
Perfume does not last forever, the perfume they have left is probably well past its best and could be the reason they no longer like it.
Give the new bottle a try.0 -

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0
