Don't think the site's going work now.Looks like the site has crashed since,I keep getting 'service unavailable' on a regular basis when I click the link.

It seems, sadly, that the collective might of the MSE website has brought the Hoxton site to it's knees. I'm trying to book at this very moment but all I'm getting is a big, black screen with a little blue line trying it's best to go somewhere. Thanks to the OP.0

Her mum designed the interior of the Hoxton (as I was forunate enough to get a £1 room and was telling her about it) and the daughter got friendly with one of the workers there................ the guy responsible for bookings over the website !
They were not expecting the overwhelming response in November and didn't have the IT structure in place to cope with all the hits (obviously, since a lot of MSE'ers had problems) and unfortunately, it hasn't been upgraded since November.
So the moral of this little story is that don't expect top results on Wednesday - the IT to cope with thousands of requests is not there.
So what!!
Sorry, but they've had since November to realise that there would be a great response to this and to do something about it. They sent out the email not long ago, if they didn't have the IT in place they simply shouldn't offer the deal. All this will do is hurt their reputation.
Yes, the offer is an absolute bargain, and no doubt someone will pipe in saying how we should be grateful - but to the hotel it is more than an offer, it is the publicity and return custom as a result. By offering a shoddy system for booking their cheap rooms, it presents a poor, unprofessional image of the hotel, and would mean I for one wouldn't want to book a room at their normal rates there!
They've just gone and dug the first part of their grave, as far as I'm concerned.0
