i concur has anyone tried ringing them?

Yes, but the Vodafone Network is busy. Probably everyone calling to say 'i luv u' LOL

Seriously though. Consumer website gets wind of offer, and there's now a lot of unhappy potential customers. If anything, the sh*t has hit the fan for them. Yes, they've sold their rooms at £1, generated publicity, but in fairness, I won't be recommending them.

Perhaps someone from The Hoxton, would like to comment?

It's got to be a technical error their end, I can't believe they went within milli-seconds! I didn't get lucky last time but at least I still saw the dates available. They've cocked up big time!

  • They may be 'experiencing difficulties' - but I wish they'd put THAT on the website - so at least we'd know!!
Any fool can pay full price!!
  • It's not working at all! I have tried it both in HTML mode and Flash, all dates come up with no rooms available, except those at £59, which existed before 5 PM.

As I said...there is nothing at all available...now I don't for one second think that they are fully booked every night up until June. The rooms haven't been put on the site yet.

On a slightly off topic note, i've won a few auctions on the Thistle Hotel website. Executive room, breakfast included. Rather nice too. Now, that is something that I can recommend
  • I'm getting a "currently this rate is not available please call the hotel" message.

Unsuprisingly I can get the same room for £59 or £79 ... I smell somehting a little fishy here!
