I have taken out a contract with Dial a Phone on the new iPhone 4s and with the contract comes Gadget Helpline Support which is free for month 1 and then there is a charge.
I have no need for this, so i would like to cancel - has anyone else had to do this and could advise me on the process? i.e. d i go to them direct with a letter of their website etc
Any help would be much appreciated.

Rather than use their 0844 number, use 0137 383 9990. I was able to use my postcode (rather than any reference number) and to my amazement the process took 2 minutes.0

I find this a horrible way to gain new business. A bit like being opted in and having to opt out of a;ll your details being sold around the world. I guess it could be seen as my fault because it was hidden in the t&c which i accepted. What a business model...lets con people into paying £20 before they realise and cancel...Grrrr0

I just rang them, cancelled and job done. It's annoying though that I was 'opted' in to begin with as I didn't want it.0

It is nice to see that this company is still taking money from people. I have just had £18.30 taken out of my account with no confirmation letter from the bank or the company .I can not see where I agreed to this . As far as I am concerned this is fraud . I will do my best to obtain compensation. is this a bit like miss selling payment protection.
most people haven`t got the time or the determination to fight these people . how many thousands of people have paid up twenty quid extra when they bought a phone from Dial a Phone and where else are they operating.0
