    What you are doing here is running a self-drive hire operation, albeit a non-standard one due to the tuition element. You need to speak to a proper insurance broker on this to obtain an appropriate policy. The mainstream private car market will not touch it, if only due to the modifications (dual controls).

    Do you have a Body of Driving Instructors or something like that? I'm sure you aren't the only person to do this

    What he said, this sounds somewhat non-standard. A broker who knows this area should be able to sort you out well.
