Trevelling to Greece in May. In view of the current situation there regarding money or lack of any ideas on whether to take travellers cheques or Euros????

Use your debit card to withdraw whatever you require at the time ( and have a second one as backup if possible). Do not let the Greek bank convert the conversion rate into £ for you (which is a question that may appear on the screen).
Travellers cheques (in £) will cost you money to convert into euro and euro travellers cheques are a waste of time and expensive to cash at banks.0 -
Travelex Globe PP Mastercard is perfect. Money stays in £s until point of sale (so you have no problem with unused currency) + converts to what ever currency you need at Mastercard rate minus 1.49%.0
