OMG what a nightmare!!!! Hottest day of the year to move and because of the narrow lane access they needed to do 4 trips and no keys........ after an hour of waiting about they decided to see if they could get into the new one and fortunately the garage had been left open and even better the door through to the house was also unlocked so they could move our stuff in (little illegal like but hey ho) OH had gone to sit outside the estate agents so he could get the keys asap as it's a 45 min round trip - unfortunately he was there until 4:27!!!!! In that time the new owners of our house had arrived and wanted to start unpacking as their keys had been released by our solicitor.
Absolute nightmare then as they wanted to spend the next 4 hours unloading their lorry which they couldn't get down the lane so they had to barrow everything along - great way to introduce yourself to the new neighbours.
therefore as we had no-one this end our boxes and bags and furniture were all over the place wherever they could fit them in which would have been ok had we not had a new sofa and chair, bed, tv and fridge freezer being delivered the next day - kind of sorted now but my feet are killing me as I must have walked miles this week admittedly a lot of it pacing back and forth praying for the phone to ring :rotfl:
the oven was absolutely bogging but luckily I checked whether it worked before I tried to clean itThe one i left was pristine compared to this one - next day delivery and we now have a shiny new one
no hope of any crafting at the mo as we have 3 rooms left to sort out - the spare bedroom, a couple of boxes in the lounge and the craft room which is currently looking like cardboard city :rotfl:
Big exhausted hugsOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I've made a card *faint*
My mojo has been missing for a few weeks, but I had to do a DT card, so it's in the usual place0 -
Padster - we moved 10 years ago and only unpacked the last box last year! so you are doing OK
. You've got to wonder haven't you at folk leaving a dirty house for the new people? Hope it soon feels like home & you can get crafting.

Well Done Louise - welcome to the absolute nut house lol!
We are getting there slowly with the unpacking I'm determined that nothing will remain unlooked at for the next 10 years like last time and broken stuff is going to be thrown out not stuck in the garage just in case :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
