Sorry to hear of your dads news Skiergirl, take care xxx

Popped into Lidl today and their wee booklet for the 14th May(Monday) has the pads of card in it for £1.99 again, so worth stocking up if you have used all your stash from the last time xx

    Hi Misskaty!
It might be worth checking pound stores, the works and Wilkos.
Think outside the box- wrapping paper etc can be far cheaper than crafting papers.
Also sometimes crafting mags have papers with them plus ideas on what to make.
I cut the ribbons from clothes to use (the ones they put in to keep clothes on the hangers in store).
If I'm buying gem stones etc then I buy clear and colour to match the card.

Sings - "I can see clearly now" - well better than before anyway - not sure I'll be any better at lining things up on my cards but the blur has gone! My eye is quite bloodshot and I'm wearing a very fetching clear eyeshield to protect it - I had some really funny looks when I went to town yesterday but wasn't going to stay in.

Anyhow, I've really come here to drum up more entries for the challenge - favourite book or film (....ish) so far I've got:-

    CT19720
    Rainmac
    Flourgirl
    Artydoll
    Flying F
    Padster
    Crafty Louise

Let me know if I've missed you...........

misskaty depending on how much your printer inks cost there are several free downloadable papers,I've just used some on my grandaughters card ,on my blog.My inks aren't too pricey so they work out quite reasonable.

Marg I am so sorry I forgot your birthday I haven't really felt up to card making am not sure why, stress at work I think there is so much happening it makes my head spin :o I shall make you a little something instead in the next few days, as well as all the others I have missed :o I feel really bad about yours though as you do such a good job with the birthday list ... sorry

Skiergirl Sorry to hear about your dad, how is he now?

Jellie Mo Manning is good for teens, I am too growing seeds, they are so big all over my windowsills I really need to pot them on but have no space and it's too cold where I am to plant out  I am sooo over this weather!

Well in an attempt to get my mojo back i have ordered a few new things and am going to tidy my craft room over the weekend, I have had stuff i have ordered still lying about in the parcels they have came in for weeks and that is so not me, like I said i feel all stressed out with too much time at work and not enough time at home to do everything i want to do .
I think when the weather forecast improve I am going to book a few days off and catch up on my very very long list of things to do

Oh Froggy I'm sorry I haven't replied before now - Don't worry about my card - it happens to all of us from time to time. You just concentrate on feeling better/relaxed enough to do a bit of crafting. Hope the better weather has enabled you to get some of your plants into the garden. (I don't 'do' seeds I can just about get baby plants in the ground).:rotfl:
