Just a rant, so i don't expect the BT rep on these forums to take an interest, and ignore my emails as before.
Moved on the 16th December, and BT messed up my home move.
Since then they have created and self cancelled my order for phone and broadband three times.
About 3 weeks ago i was finally given a date of the 24th January.
I received a call from a BT engineer yesterday (16th January) saying due to cancellations my phone and broadband could be connected on the 18th January. Fantastic.
Now the best bit.
I looked on the on-line order tracking and its been put back to the 14th February.
According to BT they still need to do some work.
So totally incompetent you have to laugh.

I'm usually not the first to jump to BTs defence... however - there are a LOT of things that can delay an install that they just won't know about until they go to the exchange. No problem with the slating of their lack of communication to you of what is going on... that would annoy me too, but the delays could be entirely genuine... to give you an idea... a new line was going in to a customers site... and 120 days later it completed... not BTs fault, but a problem with planning permission, should have taken maybe 30 days... stuff happens and it's just not worth getting your blood pressure up over

Hi there. Id agree in certain circumstances, however before we moved in the line was working absolutely fine. The previous occupants had telephone and broadband for years. In fact it was still working for 3 days after i moved in on their number.0

Hi Twisterfreak
Sorry to hear you didn't get a reply to your last email this seems strange. Can you send in the detail again we will look into it.
