To go home - I've chucked a pair of my big baggy tracksuit bottoms in and I'll prob just wear whatever top I came in (ran outta room in the bag) or one of the couple of T shirts I'd put in there in the eternal optimism I'll be allowed in the birth pool.

    Hi little miss

Snoopy - I had my 28 week midwife appointment this week and my urine tested really high for sugar so I have had bloods sent off for further testing. Midwife suspects it could be preggers diabetes (and I have googled the symptoms etc and OBVIOUSLY am now convinced I have it - probably just psychosomatic! :rotfl:). Did you have any symptoms before 28 weeks? I have been feeling tired and thirsty and needing to pee more, but don't we all?! :D

Hi Lixi, I am afraid that before the dreaded day when I got a phone call to say it was deffo diabetes I didn't think there was anything wrong with me. I felt healthy and was enjoying every second of being pregnant.

However, looking back, I was always very, very thirsty, and still am, which I am reliably led to believe is down to the diabetes.

Try not to google too much until you know for sure, but feel free to PM me or yell out on here if you need any questions answering, oh and none of that is me giving medical advice lol x x x

hi all  Hope you've all had a nice day.

Sorry to hear about your incident today sexymouse. I'm sure everything will be fine, as your baby is still quite small in relation to the amount of fluid etc around it - it's very protected. I fell over flat on my stomach at 16 weeks, and was fine. However, I think you should phone the midwife and see what she says - it'll make you feel better.

You lot do make me laugh - with all your talk of robins and chocolate, hilarious! I read a lot more than I post at the moment, as can read on my new phone but am still really slow at typing on it.

I'm 29 weeks today, can't believe how quickly time is flying by and how quickly I'm moving up the list...! Scary!

Ooh - another bargain today (I hope). Bought a Medela mini electric breast pump from someone at work for £10. Picking it up tomorrow, so hopefully it's ok. I really wanted the Swing, but this one looks almost as good, and I couldn't pass this one by at that price. The same person is also selling a M&P changing unit for £15, which is tempting but I don't think we really need one, so it seems a bit silly to buy just for the sake of it.

Having major stress with the Building Inspector re my loft conversion...trying not to let it get to me but it's really infuriating!
Also work is really stressful :( My boss is being quite nice though, I think he's worried about me taking time off sick and making the situation worse!

Emsbet you inspired me and I made gnocchi and bolognese tonight! Was yummy, thanks :)

I'm off to bed soon, methinks, got an early start tomorrow as have to get the train to work (all my lift sharers are off, how rude!) I don't mind getting the train, only prob is it involves a total of 30 mins walking, each way, which is getting quite tiring these days :o Ah well, it's nearly the weekend, yay! :j

Nighty night everyone, sleep well mums and bumps :)

Hello BB, glad you are ok and our chatter is keeping you amused.
Sorry the conversion is stressing you out but I'm sure it will be worth it. Do you have stairs yet?

No they don't want to put the stairs in until a bit later, as it's easier to get big bits of timber etc up the hole without the stairs in place. Also there's a danger of damaging the timber of the stairs if they put them in too early.

So I have to climb up a ladder every time I want to check on progress...! :o

Thanks Emsbet :) I miss being on here everyday....all day!!

Happy, Flynn is really good bless him, So much happier now he is on the lactofree milk. He is obviously dairy intolerant like all of his sisters! He had a bash on the head at toddler group yesterday, so was a sleepless night last night for me, checking him all the time! But he is fine :) Its very different having a boy at nappy changes haha Also more conscious of him looking "cool" than i ever was with the girls! How are you ?

Has Sammie been on since she had the baby? I hope she is ok!

Wonder how Lovecrafting is getting on, her fb hasnt been updated i dont think! xx
