  • No need to say sorry Teerha, just all doing my head in a little at the mo!

Gonna email ebay lady soon. Trying to word it without sounding too harsh!

Had chicken, bacon and seafood salad, was yummy! Peach upside down cake in oven, smells yummy!!

All mini pie fillings prepared, and ready for tomorrow, tired now though, and had a bit of a low sugar melt down, so OH just run like a loon to the shop for a bar of galaxy for me, I think maybe that they have upped the insulin too much as I have had 3 of these little episodes now!!!!

On the car front, we have a tiny 3 door rover 25 which is mine, even though am only learning - it is the cheap run around town car that saves us money, but we also have a 7 seater galaxy, as OH has 3 boys, and we have ours on the way! It also comes in handy for shopping, moving, towing the caravan etc.

Might have to look into the veg oil thing as it is a thirsty, thirsty car!!! x x x

Snoopy- re the ebay thing. It is allowed by ebay to charge A BIT extra to cover packaging, parking whilst posting etc, but not to make the postage so high that you make money.
You cant do alot about the one you already received, but if you dont want to pay the £15 for the most recent, then you can complain to ebay, and ask them to withdraw your bid/win due to over charging on postage. They wont look kindly on her!

My mil would actually be worse than my own mum

She is the type to push the midwife out of the way so she could deliver baby herself!! I think I would rather sew myself shut and keep baby inside me forever then have her as my birthing partner!!
    Xx

My mother's now started angling for an invite to the birth... she's not the sort who'd do supportive and would just start criticising me mid-push for something or other. There is no way on this universe I'm opening that particular can of worms - hence the point blank "no one's coming to the hospital but me and hubby - roll up at the house afterwards but you're making your own cups of tea" edict that's being firmly put out to BOTH families!

I thought 4 hours drive would be a sufficient deterrent - apparently not!

  • I wish this Heartburn would DO ONE!!!!! Not even had cake yet!

I might have to have my mum at birth - depends if DH can stay on his feet and conscious! To be fair though -she wouldbe great, would keepme calm, and do what I asked of her! x

Oh and have at least started the batch cooking to stock up the freezer thing - bought a lot of the foil pots the takeaways use and made up two extra portions of chilli today to go in there and kick things off... figure if I do a mega session of one thing a week it'll at least get us through a week or two (our freezer's tiny) - but the drawback is we need to clear out the Ben and Jerry's stockpile that's in there... hard life!
