If only Mozzy, I'd chop my left arm off at the moment to get things started, I'm so fed up
OH has finished his exams now and isn't back at uni for 2 weeks, so only has work, so would be ideal if baby decided to make an appearance now! I think it's unlikely though so I'll be sticking around for a while yet me thinks.
Luckily noone has been texting or phoning yet, when that starts I think I'll be liable to kill someoneThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

I remember the constant texts and phone calls when I was pregnant with my boys!! People would ask if I had any pains and when I said no they would always reply " not even a twinge, tiny bit of pain, etc" ... I had to bite my tongue many times instead of shouting "I just bl@@dy told you no!!!:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Me neither! But I'm fully expecting from Feb 4th I'll start getting all the calls and texts! I can't wait to show him off on Skype to my folks in South Africa and my sister in Australia!

The stomach cramps I have tonight are horrendous, not sure if it's just because I've forgotten what they are:o :rotfl: I know he's too comfy though.
I'm not scared of the birth at all, I've had such a good pregnancy I'm fully expecting a horrendous labour, but I'm trying to be really positive about it all, as I think the more tense I am the more I'll end up like the screamer on last weeks episode of OBEM
Anyone know if it's too short notice to rent a TENS machine? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

What are the best makes? There are a few for sale on Amazon and I'm thinking, even if I used for 2 labours (God I'm optomistic) I'd get my money back that I'd have used for renting? Oh decisions! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I bought the square purple tens from amazon for about £40, it arrived in 2 days and seems pretty good. I'm not sure about the booster button as I didn't want to turn it up high and it didn't seem to make much extra difference at the very low setting, when I tested it last night.
You can use them for all sorts of pains in the future, they are excellent for muscle pain relief.
I had really bad cramps yesterday, and about 2 hours of braxton hicks, which got my hopes up, but it's been quiet today. I think I'm just really hoping to que jump, which probably means I will go over.
In a sad way, Im glad others have the same problems with there MIL, as it makes me feel less like a b@tch. DH is fully supportive of me which is the key, and I try not to point out how selfish she is etc, and we just get through the times we have to see her.:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do
