Hope everyone else has a good weekend!!0 -
So, everything has become harder in the last week. Just walking down the road is taking so much effort, not sure how i'm supposed to keep working till April. My legs, back and hips hurt and I cant get a good nights sleep. I actually feel pregnant! lol if that makes sense.
I read on one of the baby forums that I go to that its recommended that you have your hospital ready from 28 weeks if you are expecting twins. That's Monday for me  I'm absolutely bricking it and its all starting to feel more real. I haven't even bought half the stuff I need. I'm thinking of having two bags, one for them and one for me. What type of bags have you guys used? Is a holdall ok or is a small suitcase type thing better? That means I actually have to wash some of the baby grows and stuff . I'm thinking of packing enough stuff for one weeks stay and just hope that we are out earlier.
My stomach is making some amazing shapes and I can physically see them moving. But the fatigue is really starting to hit home. To all you boldies, I salute you, I don't know how you stay sane cos I'm already going mad with 8-12 weeks to go.
i am going to use a holdall that i usually use for us going away for the weekend. to be honest i shoud have had my bag ready by now considering my history but i am no way ready for this baby to arrive, i really need to start baby buying or she is going to have nothing to wear at all.
how are you coping? i am due the same day as you and already cant walk properly have extreme leg pain and dont get me started on heartburn.
little bit sad but i need to type it so i can deal with it and move on, today would have been my edd if i hadnt have miscarried the last baby and got pregnant again so soon. i have lit a little candle and said a few words at my altar. (ok sad bit over now)
i have my gtt tuesday and a growth scan so im looking foreward to seeing baby again, i know it sounds daft but i dont know what a 28 week baby looks like on a scan photo, what happens at growth scans is it just the same as the others but there measuring everything? I am having my steroids aswel on tuesday.
the kids are loving babys name and the mother and mother in law are happy with it, not that i care what they think.
time to get on ebay for some baby clothes bargains i think.0 -

It'll probably be a little big but not too much but tescos sell snow suits really cheap if you want to get a newborn one. I picked up one for 5 pounds but that was a while back.:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Lovecrafting - my growth scan last week took under ten minutes and they just measure all the relevant parts and put the results on a graph for you. They also measure the fluid and give you an estimated fetal weight. Oh and she checked the umbilical cord was passing stuff through to the baby and the position of the placenta.DS1 born June 2000

((hugs)) I had the same thing on Monday as it was the EDD of the first baby we lost. Being pregnant again, it's a day of such mixed emotions. Don't feel bad for feeling sad. It's nice that you have done something to commemorate your lost LO. I will be thinking of you today.

thanks hun. on the chart that they have been plotting already it says she would be arround 5lb if we went to term i am hoping for a more accurate estimate tho. if there measuring fluid you can guarantee i will be home with anti biotics because i have been loosing fluid for weeks now. (to anyone who hasnt had a baby before and is reading this please do not be allarmed i suffer from spontanious ruptured membrains and it is not common)((hugs)) I had the same thing on Monday as it was the EDD of the first baby we lost.
