i have used lidls nappies for my boys in the past but i think that was when they were size 3/4 i do remember them being really good.

my cousin has just dropped off about 30 size 1 nappies and about 60 size 2 nappies for us!!! :D woohoo!! bit of a surprise as i was only saying on here earlier i needed a few more packs of nappies. Now i wonder if anyone will turn up with a bucket load of wipes and formula!!

    Hey folks,

For some reason, I'm not on the list. Can somebody put me on it please? I'm due on the 2nd June and have decided to keep the sex of the baby a surprise. It's kicking about alot today so perhaps we have a future footballer on our hands. I'll be 23 weeks on Friday, have been feeling the baby move for nearly three weeks now. Every time I tell husband to put his hand on my tummy to feel the baby move, the baby stops - must be a bit shy!

Anyway, took a flight to London at the weekend, had lots of people offering to help me with bags, etc so must look huge. After doing the shopping on Sunday (with husband - told him it was too much for me to do on my own!), I started to get a pain across the top of my stomach, like I pulled a muscle. Had the exact same thing about 2 months ago, which lasted 3 days that time. I've now had it for 2 days - I'm in agony, can't even get dressed! Keeps me awake at night too as everytime I move slightly, the pain wakes me up. I'm thinking there isn't much point in going to the doctors cos they'll just tell me to grin and bear it. Anybody else suffered something similar?

The good news is that over £35,000 of redundancy money made its way into my bank account this morning. Woohoo! :T:T:T I'm hoping to go back to university so it has to last me a few years but still, great to see such a huge amount in the bank. I feel super rich! Would have a drink only...actually, it's my birthday this weekend so maybe I can have a small glass of wine then to celebrate!

Is the pain mainly on ur right hand side? Like a burning? If so, i get that, drs will tell u it is normal, its the uterus pushing up :( and its agony at times. Had it with every pregnancy, only it starts earlier and earlier each time! If it isnt that, then i`m not sure, but does paracetamol help? And wow, ur baby is going to have a very good start in life :) xxx

Tesco are doing a daily email in competition to win a year's supply of Johnson's baby wipes. I haven't entered because it requires a phone number and I hate stuff that does that - but it may float your own particular boat. Should be somewhere in their baby club pages.

We are extremely lucky that this house even tho is housing association has a very generous kitchen with enough room for even a dining table :D there is space for the dishwasher under the draining board....however my tumble drier needs to move into the outer house, which i prob wont like come next winter!!
And nope, not long at all, midwife said to me today, "i hope ur packed and ready to go" i`ve never been on time never mind early so i`ll not be ready for anything to happen b4 the 27th feb lol! xx

we are housing association too, we done an exchange a couple of years ago from a 2 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house so we were really lucky. we have a lounge/diner hence why the kitchen is pretty small.

just realised how close you are to having a leap year baby!!! :D

  • evening all, just back from dog training. nakered out i am and i only stood there gassing.

re the dishwasher thing, my kitchen is so tiny that our fridge freezer, washer and dryer are downstairs on the ground floor. the kitchen is on the middle floor (strange house, its above a shop but we have some space downstairs) but we have a dishwasher under the counter where the sink is we could do with a fridge in the kitchen tho, going up and down those stairs every time you need a bit of milk is like climbing a mountain.

Yeh we exchanged from a 2 bed flat to this 3 bed house, altho we did have to move 200 miles to get it!!! Our front room is big enough we could fit a table in too if we needed. some of the houses on the estate r 3 bed but tiny! xx

lovecrafting, could u not get a table top fridge just for the milk?? My friend has that in her kitchen as her main fridge is in her shed lol! I`m just thinking with 4 kids it`ll make more sense to have a dishwasher, as atm, its dinner, then they go for showers etc whilst i wash up, then it seems to be time to start bedtime routine and i`m still in the kitchen!!! xx
