What are people's opinions on Shiply?
Hi If you are just sending 1 parcel then Shiply is not for you. they will charge you a service fee of approx £7.20 inc and then the charge for the parcel from the courier. he has to pay Shiply as well. Minimum of £7.20. so if he quotes you £25 add £7.20 fee =£32.20. of this the courier gets £17.80 and Shiply gets £14.20.
A Rip off, Scam or a con ??? its not for me to say but some people would draw that conclusion. In my opinion try parcel2go. I was with Stefan one of DHL's European Managers a few months ago and he was saying parcel2go are DHL's biggest customer. SO they must be huge now. I have sent several parcels by them and they sub the work. you can choose from all the big names. I had an account with Parcelforce and their rates where cheaper than my contracts.
Hope this helps0 -
My post is solely about this Company. I have used this Company 3 times and have ended up with 2 bad experiences. I would not recommend this company because the tracking is ridiculous. I posted a bad review on their website, they did not list it. The courier refuse to talk to you when their are problems because you're not the customer and the Company only use email so responses can be slow. Turns out my parcel was lost which took about 5 days to find out after it had been sitting in a depot for 3 days! Claims process pretty quick but still a nuisance. Advice, use the site for a quote and then go to the courier company direct yourself. No point in having a 'middle man'.0
