nokia 6230i help

My Nokia 6230i, which i have all my contacts saved to phone, has just decided to show that my phone book is empty.

Where has it gone? Is it a common fault? Any ideas please.

Have you gone into names, then settings, and checked to see if the memory in use option is sim card and not phone and sim ?

yeah, when i try to save it says "phone memory protected" any ideas?

it sounds like you've got phone security enabled. Go to settings, security and turn off phone security

It should be called "Security Level" just change it so its says none mate.
