no no noooooooo it came up again when i closed windows madia player i tryed reinstalling windows media play but i still get the error. i put shvhost higher in and out instead of just out should i give it complete power on the firewall settings.

Looking at that I would of thought that sfc /scannow would of worked but odd that it didnt or maybe it cant because that transformation pack is conflicting with file protection, also the accompat.txt file has been damaged by some kind of registry fix, also my thoughts are to do with the vista transformation pack with that issue also.

I removed the pack from add/remove programs as it gave me a few issues, I also removed glass and £d windows as it was a bit glitchy, maybe you could do the same then run a sfc /scannow without any of the addons installed.

I however backed up all my files and did a fresh XP Install as the pack did NOT uninstall cleanly and !!!!!!ed my system.
