Debenhams Online

Earlier today I made an order online at Debenhams. I got all the way through to the bank authorisation and then Order Confirmation. I am sure I saw an order number but had to quickly close the page as OH was coming in, and gifts were for him!
I waited and waited but no email confirmation of order. Nor anything from Quidco to confirm Cashback.
So, I have just re ordered the items. Annoyingly it now has cost more as one or two items are now showing as out of stock so I had to get other similar items instead. Again It appeared the order went through. I got the confirmation of order page (Noted number this time), and waited for an email.
Again, nothing. Though I have just received a Quidco one.
Have these orders gone through? Am I going to get two lots of near identical orders? I had thought I could just return to store but seems Debenhams and returning are not an easy task.
Anyone ever used them and got any advice?

My advice, ring them and ask.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0

Well, in the absence of any sort of psychic powers or the ability to access Debenhams internal ordering system
, I'd suggest the best people to ask about your order are Debenhams themselves.

Thanks. I will be phoning them today. They were not open yesterday when I posted
But from what I have read it sounds like their CS is a nightmare to call. Many people report being on hold for ages then being cut off so I did wonder if anyone here had had any experiences and advice.0 -
Don't know about contacting them by phone but I've returned items before that I bought online and returned via their store and had no problems whatsoever.0

I ordered online from Debenhams and the money was out of my account quickly but the goods took 3 weeks to arrive. I wouldn't order online from them again." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Managed to get through. Bit of a crazy system they have as you press 1 for this 2 for that but when you get through to an advisor they still say I'll pass you through to that dept!
Anyway, somehow they have altered my email address on both orders so I have not received the emails, and they can't change it.
I had two choices, either accept both orders or decline the second. But as it is coming in dribs and drabs it would be a nightmare determining which parcel was each order and I am sure the delivery person would start to get seriously hacked off with me.
I should be able to return the duplicate items in store, hope so, but again have read nightmares about that.
One good thing came out of it though. One of the items I ordered first time, was out of stock second, so I chose an alternative. However it was already out of stock so I won't be getting it in the first either. At least this way I was able to get an alternative now rather than find out in weeks to come.0 -
You could just cancel both orders, refuse delivery of it all and get it in store
May not be ideal but it might save the hassle of trying to work out which packages to accept and which ones to refuse. Will also mean you avoid the hassle of potentially accepting ones which were meant to be refused and possibly being liable for return postage costs (not sure what Debs returns policy is tbh). You keep using that word. I use an auto fill thingy and the email on that is definitely correct. They changed the co.uk to .com
Strange as it sounds they did manage to do it on both my orders.0 -

I will just accept it all then work out what I want to return. Will be much easier. I could cancel and go to the store but my health is not great so have no idea when I can get there and also a fair bit was sales stuff so no guarantee it will be in store.0 -

i can say with fairly strong certainty that debenhams wont have changed your email address - why would they change any ones email address, especially two completely random orders that happen to be yours!
I suggest you uninstall your "auto fill thingy" or at least find a way to make it forget what it knows for the debenhams site.0
