Doe sanyone know when i am likely to recieve the first demand letter???

You might not receive anything as they might have decided not to bother spending the £2.50 fee to the DVLA to try and chase up a clever person who knows the system.

I am hoping this is the case. Just a little update I have spoekn to trading standards and my local council, who are investigating the company for charging in a free car park. Trading Standards advice was.... ignore them.

Thank you all for your support and kind advice.

yes it is a scam that impersonates authority, the impersonation is good enough to fool around half that get them, then the change of characters to debt collectors and solicitors gets a few more.

Yes you are still okay to ignore them, if you look at the sticky thread with what to expect you will see the letter you will get next, as well as the one you have now. Please ignore their pleads for your money, they cannot demand anything, they can only request it! My advice is to ignore the request.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Be assured that you will not get taken to court 99.9999999% sure they wont

Be assured that bailiffs will not come knocking on your door 99.9999999% sure they wont

Its a free car park - you owe them nothing £0.00 - diddly squat - ziltch - nowt - not even a penny.

Please dont fret about these letters, the majority of us regular trusted members on here have all had at least one of these companies chase use for their "tickets", and not one of us has ever seen even a sniff of court action. Please do not give them credit by believing their threats.

If ts say ignore then ignore, my MP even told me to ignore the last one I got....btw I have several from differing companies and have never seen court.

Its Friday evening, have a glass of plonk, put yer feet up and chill, let them do the chasing, afterall its costing them more than its costing you.

Because they have an automatic reaction to believing figures of authority, even though the PPCs are no authority
