Does anyone know of any products which can be fitted to washing machine doors to prevent little ones from opening them.

DD (aged 1) has just worked out how to open the door, which obviously worries me!

Keep it turned off at the plug and it can't cause any problems.

My little one's eleven months old and LOVES the washing machine and the dryer, I can just sit him down when the they are on and he'll watch for hours, fascinated. Luckily he's not learned how to open the door yet, although I will watch him closely now as obviously 1 year olds can do it!

Thanks, we already do that; though I'd prefer it if we could secure the door too just in case :)

Please tell me you've got no cats (or other small pets). Make sure you always check inside before running the machine. Your daughter won't come to any harm but the things she puts in the machine might!

Just be prepared to inadvertently wash lots of soft toys, Peppa Pigs, bits of food, bunches of keys etc....

Have a stairgate across the door, or tell them no!! why let a kid open a door without telling them its naughty?
