Freeview Recorder Needed...Please Help!! Thanks

Right I ordered a freeview recorder for my borther from ebuyer, Tvonics brand for £55 delivered. However, despite being advertised as having 'twin tuners' and the ability to 'recorder two channels at the same time'....it didnt have this capacity, when this scenario came up. Only one channel could be recorded while viewing another. Ebuyer has acknowledged it is misleading/incorrect information on their site and are picking it up tommorrow.
I thought all freeview recorders with twin tuners had the capability of recording two channels (one thats being viewed and another one), but it seems its not always the case?
Anyway I need a freeview recorder which has this function atleast....but Im confused as to which to buy now? Budget is £100. Thanks for any help....

Remember that you can use the third tuner in your TV to view, while the PVR is recording another two. But yes, you can record two channels and view one of them at the same time.
Your budget will not get you a decent PVR. For about £124 you can get a refurb Humax 9300T from Humax Direct, by far the best machine on the market, as long as you don't need HD recording.

You may also want to check out Argos, John Lewis and Tesco web sites they all have Freeview recorders in their sales just now.0
