Hi there,
Thanks for reading!
Today ive recieved the following letters:
1 from Black Horse regarding 3 claims (lets call them A,B and C)
asking would i fill out a questionnaire which only contained B's agreement number and is 6 sheets long .
My question is why do I need to do with again when I first raised a claim I sent them the questionaire. The one they have sent bak is asking questions like how much savings did I have at the time etc ·
I originally sent them the following:
Individual FOS questionnaire for each agreement
· Any correspondence between Chartered Trust/Black Horse and myself.
· Bank Statement showing PPI being taking out of my bank
· Their PPI policy terms and conditions.
Also a letter from Royal Bank of Scotland asking for more information as I do not have the policy number. They have asked Please provide us with more information to locate the policy. Appropiate information can include policy numbers, amount, start dates, end dates, copies of statements, and other supporting documentation......
Grr on my intitial email (yes along with the FOS questionaire and a covering letter I supplied the following, 2 bank statements showing the amounts and dates, credit report showing start date, end date and amount....what more do they want blood!
Sorry im just having a rant as it seems they seem keen to send anything back!

Hi there, when you filled the original questionnaires in,did you have the account numbers for these loans?.
Some do ask for a questionnaire to be filled in again.
What reasons did you give for mis sell?.
Bank statements and credit reports are not proof of ppi, they only show that a loan was taken out and what you paid back.
You need to do a SAR if you do not have the agreement numbers, ppi policy number is not needed as
the loan number will suffice.0 -
when you filled the original questionnaires in,did you have the account numbers for these loans? For the black horse I do and sent all 3 FOS with their individual agreement numbers and photocopies of the agreements but for the RBS Royscot card I havent
Some do ask for a questionnaire to be filled in again. Ah brilliant thats good to know at least its not just mine! They want to know exactly what the sickness pay was at my employee at the time but I cannot remember for the life of me the exact but 3 months full and 3 months half rings a bell. The employer whom I was with for 9 years has recently gone iinto Administrationso I cannot contact them to check.
What reasons did you give for mis sell?Black Horse - The reasons I gave was that as it was a telephone application no medical/employent sickness questions were asked. Also I was not told the PPI was optional and that I could buy these elseswhere. The agent didnt consider if I actually needed the PPI and it wasnt fully explained.
RBS Roscot Style Credit Card - I never realised I actaually had PPI when I first got a loan with RBS they insisted I take it out which I a 0 balance on it for its duration but I never knew I had PPI attached until ive looked back on my bank statements and credit history a few weeks ago
Bank statements and credit reports are not proof of ppi, they only show that a loan was taken out and what you paid back. I thought this was the case thank you for clarifing it
You need to do a SAR if you do not have the agreement numbers, ppi policy number is not needed as
the loan number will suffice.I do not have any details on this PPI policy except a bank statement. Ah I really do not think Ill be able to get anywhere with the Royscot Claim as all I have bank statements and credit report and the start date on the credit card is 30/07/1998
What do you think I should put for sickness pay? Be honest and put what I think? Has anyone had to actually provide proof?
Thanks for taking the time to read and advise0 -

put what you said here and tell them you cannot provide proof as the company went into liquidation 9 years ago.

They dont have to tell you that you can get it elsewhere, optional is good, and not being explained is good.

The Black horse loan, when you write back to them, tell them, you would like a copy of the recording when you took the loan out,to prove that the ppi was not sold to you in the right way. I will do thank You

Yes the balance was 0 as I never used it at all
wait for the SAR to come back, you only need to put info about you,dob address etc, they will find all accounts that they have/had on you.
I am glad to help you.
Look at the statements and see if there is an account number for this payment to the zero balance.0 -
Did you pay the rbs by DD? your bank may be able to help with your dd list, may be worth asking.0
-
It shows the payment and to Royscot. Will they even sent a SAR when the account is closed?
Thanks again now doubt ill be on him mithering again soon!0 -
They have to comply with a SAR request.
If you need anymore help just ask.
Stick to this thread and dont post on the other one you did x.0 -
I suppose its worth a try I'll post a sars tomorrow. Ill keep you updated0
