Easyjet internal flight I have miss spelt name

Hi I was booking an internal flight for a friend and myself. His name ends in LL but I have only put L ( Tourel instead of Tourell ) how strict are they on these at the airport for internal flights? I don't want to be paying the extortionate fees for name change.
Thanks

A spelling mistake of just 1 letter is considered that, a spelling mistake. (it's not a name change, which can be quite expensive). You can ring them and they will change it for free, but it won't be a problem at the aiport either.

wow, thanks for that Alisha. I went Online to change it and it would have cost the same price as I had already paid for the flight. Are you sure it wont matter? ( Not doubting you, just want to make doubley sure).
Am I best just to leave it then? Or would I be better phoning?
    Thanks

I'm 99.999% sure that the person checking IDs won't notice that there is 1 "l" missing when the rest of the name and details are identical. They check thousands of names a day remember! Plus anyone with common sense could see it was a genuine error that doesn't affect anything.

Clearly it can't be guaranteed though - if you really can ring them and get it changed for free (other people have had it done so they are probably right) then do that.

I spelled my own first name incorrectly (doh! you'd think I'd know it after 53 years), I rang Easyjet and they changed it for free. As the flight was to go to a job interview I didn't want to risk it at the airport, although I'm pretty sure it would have been OK. Shame I didn't get the job, although at least I got the flight paid for,

Try calling them sooner rather than later as most airlines will amend a small typo FOC.
