You say you are 'studying' so you have in fact not had any practical experience and certainly no where near ceasars experience.

No one is right or wrong, just different, and to be honest you smack of arrogaance with this I'm right and you are wrong attitude.

Im as open minded as the next person and I can always see both sides so take this post as part of your training.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

If it's the former, then the burden of proof is on you. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

If the Earth were flat you would NEVER see a sharp horizon with things beyond that horizon. It would be absolutely impossible.

It's frequently possible to see a sharp horizon with things (ships) beyond.

Ergo, the Earth is not flat.

Many stuborn people on here. Some of them admit they will not change theirs minds even if they know they are wrong.

Some people just do not like backing down when they are right.

The worst problems seem to stem from people who will not 'agree to differ'.

There are a couple of posters here who insist that their definition of or take on something is 'the only true one' even when everyone else has long since realised that it's basically just a matter of opinion.

    e.g.

Some people understand a word to mean something different to others.
Some people think some things are racist whilst others don't.
Some people think some terms and conditions are 'reasonable' whilst others don't.
Some things need to be determined in court to provide an answer.

But you will still get some who insist that they are correct and anyone who disagrees with them is absolutely wrong.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.

I think part of that problem is from people claiming things are just opinions when they are facts, and visa versa.
