TV Sender to Work with Virgin V+

Hi
For many years I used a tv sender to enable me to watch and control the virgin box in the bedroom. Then a couple of years ago I changed to the V+ box. Although I can still watch I can't get any of the menus to show on the screen now so end up having to go to living to scroll through menus recorded programmes etc.
Can anyone advise how I can get the full functionaility of the V+ box to show on screen in the bedroom or recommend a sender that would do this please?
I did contemplate getting a second box for the bedroom but when I enquired I realised that anything recorded on a box is only on that box, so would have to set up all the recordings on the bedroom box too if I wanted to see what I was actually scrolling through, deleting etc. So not really worth all the aggro and cost.
Thanks

Have you got your videosender plugged into the TV Scart socket of the Virgin+ box? If it's plugged into a VCR socket, the menus may not be displayed.0

It's plugged into scart. When I follow the set up again everthing is where it should be it's just since the change to V+ that the menus have disappeared so wonder if a different sender is needed?0
