Do all DWP staff have access to private records

A word in the right ear is all that is required to find out.
1. She won't have access to the relevant applications.
2. Those with access to the relevant applications are subject to random checks.
3. Why would someone risk their job for a new employee, or even an existing employee? In the current job climate?
You could do what woodbine suggests, but it would be pointless as she won't have access to benefit records anyway.

are you sure she cares that much? there are a lot of people i could look up on the computer at work, but i CBA, they're really not that important. and presumably she's known your brother for a while, why would being married make a difference, she could have looked you up anytime.Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

She will have no access - access costs money and is only given to those who need it. I work in Benefit Delivery as a manager and have no system access at all.0

Not quite the same situation but I do CT/Benefits and I had to declare my local relatives - their accounts are barred to me."If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

What is CT/Benefits? And do you work in a department where you would regularly access people's records?0 -

That's interesting! So Benefit Delivery sounds like it actually deals with paying the benefits as well?0 -

I appreciate I'm being a bit paranoid but she is vindictive person and it's good to have an idea of what she might or might not be able to access. I've seen the report sent in by one of my doctors and the thought of her being able to read it somehow just terrifies me.0 -
My mother used to work at the benefit's agency and my account was locked out so only her supervisor could access it. I'd say her getting access would be highly unlikely because, as others have said, she'd be risking her job to poke around BUT if it really is worrying you that much then there is no harm in writing a letter stating your concerns and asking for confirmation that she would have no access to your personal details. You don't have to mention that you don't get on with her just the fact that you'd like reassuring that your personal details and medical reports are not available for her to see.0
