To start checking press the button (you may need to enable macros)
Obviously, it won't work until the Sun Holidays Booking site is opened.
ok - done all the instructions - when it says press the button - which button??
and can someone repost the guide to disabling macros?
maybe all this needs to go in the first post - to save people searching for it all night...
i guess everyone needs to have all this set up before the site goes live..??

Sorry Art - pretty sure this is only going to work with IE. I wrote it last year when I had some time spare. I don't have time to look at it now but if anyone wants to play with it I expect it's this line in the code you'll need to start by replacing:
Set ie = CreateObject("internetexplorer.Application")
ok - well IE is a swear word in our house:D but will see if i can find a mac in the office that has both IE and Excel on it - not as easy job as we dont do microsoft if we can help it;)
if not you will have to re-allocate myletters ..
Do you think we should check that everyone allocated letters is able to do this ie they have excel, IE, can disable macros, etc... or we might be missing people at the crucial moment?

also downloading a free trial of microsoft office from the microsoft page for a month so i will be able to open the spreadsheet wen the time comes!! the lengths we go to!!!0

Hmm, thought I'd be able to use the Excel thing this year but alas, I don't have IE lol! Once I'm back from the school run I'll check in to see if the page is open, although I suspect it's not going to be open until around teatime? (Going by past experience.....) If at the time it opens you want help entering manually then I'll at least do that. Thanks everyone.0

To be honest, if there are just a few people able to use it at least, the checker will go through all the letters anyway unless it's stopped or people have deleted words? So, in theory, all the words should get checked, just might take a bit longer? I think...... :question:0 -
