I have not used the spreadsheet before but, having downloaded it and opened it, I presume in the box next to Ref 1 you enter the first part of your sun reference and in box Ref 2 the second part.

e.g if your reference is 1111111/222 you enter:

    Ref 1 1111111
    Ref 2 222

I changed the 'GLOW' reference to 'TEAM' (todays code).

Enter the line number you want to start from.

Make sure Macros are enabled on excel (you probably received a warning) about this depending on which version you are using.

    Then press Button 1.

It won't work until the website goes live.

(Note: I have not used the spreadsheet before so the everything above is based on assumption - feel free to correct me).

You need to have Microsoft Excel and Internet Explorer on you PC to make this work.

Is there any mileage in using an on-line list instead of having to repost the alphabet table? Something like this:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ai1Z9N9WB9jOdC1DaWRGdTI0bG5UY2tSYkUtUzcwQXc

I though that if people logged the last time a Letter was checked we'd know which one to try next. And if the person starting the check puts their name in the 'Checking Now' column we'd be able to avoid everyone checking the same letters?

    Just a thought..

Sorry Art - pretty sure this is only going to work with IE. I wrote it last year when I had some time spare. I don't have time to look at it now but if anyone wants to play with it I expect it's this line in the code you'll need to start by replacing:

    Set ie = CreateObject("internetexplorer.Application")
