hi, i test a lot of dvd players.
i buy them from argos and return them within the 30 day money back gurantee period.
i test about 2 a month.
anyway i have returned the wrong player buy accident.
i had two of the same make but i have returned the wrong one in the wrong box to argos.
what will happen here?
will i get into trouble?
can they trace it back to me?
i payed by credit card!
thanks

itl probably sit in a wharehouse for months before anybody looks in the box the chances of it coming back to you are minimal and even if it does as far as you know when you took it back to the shop it was the correct one in the box its argos who will be at fault for not checking what was in the box when you took it back0

Are you taking the p*ss OP?
What the hell do you "test" dvd players from Argos for?!?!
Don't get me wrong, everyone loans stuff from the library of Argos now and then to test it out, but not a couple of dvd players every week...

Hope you did not return an expensive model in a cheaper model box LOLProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

Can't be a very good one if this is how he's forced to acquire his test equipment.errolevans wrote:Maybe he's a DVD player reviewer and it's the cheapest way to do it??? lol
My guess is either someone just playing the system because he lies change or a modchip/hack 'researcher' with a commercial interest. Both are unlikely though...0 -

So when Argos stop doing the 30 day money back gurantee period, at least we will know why !!!0

Don't thinl there is much chance of that... if they did, they would lose sales like mad, cos who would buy from them without seeing the goods first?!?!
But the OP could potentially get done for fraud i'd imagine, especially since he said he pays by CC. Argos could cross check and see he has taken 139 DVD players back!!!

Don't worry about it, it is down to Argos staff to check all returns.0
