I'd turn it into a hotel for misanthropes. You'd probably need a couple of resident Latvians to cater to your every whim, and ten times the asking price for restoration.
Love it! I like they EA has not tested the appliances... What appliances?NOT a NEWBIE!

Seriously, I've put so much effort into my home already and I love where I live! A bit more space would be nice if I ever want kids hence the knocking-through idea but otherwise I'm already living in my ideal home. *Gag* I'd probably just use a bit of money on a few extra touches here and there, a new lick of paint and that. I'd be such a crap lottery winner.
Nope I wouldn't move either. I'm very lucky to live in a desirable little village, however I live in a little 2 bed cottage not one of the hugely expensive homes in my village. I can't afford to buy bigger in the village, but I would buy next door and knock through to make a bigger home. My kids moan about sharing a bedroom, however since I had my last daughter at home, there's no way I'm parting with my little cottage, and at least when I die my kids will have something worth a bit of money to sell, ha ha.
Is it just me or are others wondering why all these wealthy people are selling up? Is it the effects of the recession and that they can't afford them any longer or are they all shipping off somewhere where they can make some money in todays economy?0 -
Well this wealthy owner got sold to a different football club.
Believed to be Joey Barton's former residence, it's in my search area. Not sure the garden is large or sunny enough for me if I had lottery win kind of money!!

Nice house, but wouldn't want to live in that area, too built up and too many students and just to make it seem a little less sulubrious, the Geordie Shore girls strolling up and down would lower the tone too, :rotfl:0 -

Nah, some of those are built by developers and sold very quickly. That kind of rich is recession immune, trust me.0 -

Am I missing something here? £45,000,000 for planning permission?! Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Most of the houses have far more bedrooms than anyone could use.
Are you all planning to open bed and breakfasts?0
