i am currently with sky for tv, broadband and phone and paying around £70 a month without movie channels and sports.
it seems so expensive and the sky customer services don't seem very help full when i call so i am looking to move providers.
all i need is standard internet (don't play games)
phone possibly free local calls
and also standard package of tv programmes but i would like the kids channels including the disney channel.
can anyone help me with what providers are available at the cheapest price.
i'm hoping 2012 is a year for cutting our outgoings because we have our second baby on the way.
any help would be great and thanks in advance.

If you want Disney then you need to have subscription TV. Otherwise switch to Freeview or Freesat. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

There are loads of Kids TV channels available for free on satellite without a Sky subscription: CBBC, CBeebies, CITV, Pop, PopGirl, TinyPop, Kix!, let along the childrens content on Channel 5. You just need to take a hard look at whether it is worth paying out the extra just for the Disney content. As has been suggested actually buying the Disney DVDs may be cheaper than buying the Sky package for the bit of a Disney fix that he needs. I honestly do feel for parents who are under such pressure not to 'deprive' their kids of anything, but what's available for free nowadays far exceeds anything that was available when I was a kid.0

I agree there! Once he/she's got used to the choice available above he'll be fine I'm sure. My 4yr old nephew has Disney DVD's and watches Cbeebies and TinyPop pretty much all the time.0
